Step into the cottage through the timber front door and find yourself in the cosy open plan living room.  Large slate flagstones line the floor and there are white painted beams on the ceiling. Exposed stone on the right hand wall lends a rustic feel and this combines beautifully with the painted tongue and groove panelling below.

The kitchen area is to the left and although compact, is perfectly formed! Oak shaker style base and wall units provide additional storage and there is an under counter fridge and a stainless steel sink and drainer. A dark grey laminate worktop provides a decent amount of preparation space.

This area is punctuated by the door to the rear access lane. To the right is another base unit and the slot-in cooker with a stainless steel splash-back and stainless steel and glass curved chimney hood above, neatly fitted into the space.

Wood-style vinyl flooring is an easy clean and steps lead up to a neat little utility area, where there is also enough room to store your hoover and ironing board and other bits and bobs!  An inglenook fireplace with its brick arch takes centre stage and is painted in crisp white along with the rest of the wall on this side of the living room. Reveals on either side of the chimney breast are the perfect spaces for your TV and bookcase. The spot next to the stairs is the ideal place for your dining table and a couple of chairs.

Up the carpeted stairs and find a small landing with the bathroom straight ahead. This is a generous room with lots of light coming through the window at the far end, there is a bath with a shower fitting and screen, pedestal wash basin and a close coupled WC. More of the same painted tongue and groove lines the right hand wall and the floor boards have been painted white.

The double bedroom is last but not least. Big enough for a large double bed, there is a window to the front of the cottage and an open wardrobe space in the reveal in the far corner for hanging up your clothes.

Peach Thoughts - A charming and cosy cottage, full of character and well laid out. The cottage is in good move-in condition and having gas central heating is such a bonus.
