As you draw up outside this lovely barn you are immediately struck by its peaceful location. The drive provides parking for up to two cars and takes you right to the front door.

Step inside the porch with its wooden bench and row of coat hooks above – the perfect space to kick off your wellies.  From here you turn right into the super open plan kitchen/sitting room with its striking vaulted ceiling. The barn mixes crisp white walls and ceilings with exposed wood and slate sills, giving it a spacious and modern feel. This is completed by the terracotta tiles floor throughout – warm and forgiving.

The kitchen is situated at one end of this room and contains all the essentials; washing machine, microwave, large fridge/freezer, cooker and gas hob, with plenty of work space and a breakfast bar at the end with stools.  There is also a dining table which can seat up to six people for those who like to do a little entertaining.

In the sitting room area, two squashy sofas and a large rug complete the laid back feel.  Imagine those cold winter days curled up in front of the a film…bliss…

Off the sitting room is the Master Bedroom which has a king-size double bed which faces floor-to-ceiling wooden double doors which open out onto magnificent views across the garden and fields with the crooked spire of St Minver village church in the distance. Bedroom 2 is to the left of the porch and has a raised double cabin bed with room underneath for a small single mattress (a den suitable for small children only.)  Both bedrooms have neutral carpets.

The modern white bathroom suite comprises a wooden panelled bath with small rose shower over, separate basin and WC. The wall mounted chrome towel rail keeping the room cosy. White tiles, slate sills and a slate tiled floor mix beautifully with the exposed wood.

Step Outside and there’s a small grass area and table from which to enjoy the views.

Peach Thoughts – if you are looking for a super cosy bolt hole to hunker down in for the Winter, with plenty of walks on the doorstep, then this could just be the perfect place!
